Project Scope: Brand Strategy, Brand Research, and Brand Identity and Visual Language
Date: July 2016
Sector: Fashion Textiles Event
F.IND - Fashion In India
BRIEF: F.IND is an essential networking platform and business hub within the fashion industry, where designers from over 120 countries come together to share ideas, conduct business, and build new collections. It is a fictitious fashion event set in the heart of India.
APPROACH: For F.IND I wanted to create a fun and young brand language and a design plan to ensure that this B2B event is not only memorable but also interactive and engaging.
To start with, I chose to proceed with a visual communication style that conveyed the elements of the events optimally and honestly.
The colours I chose were young and vibrant to give a refreshing image to the brand. I also created a pattern using the letters in F.IND along with selected colours.
Since it was important to depict how the event encouraged different companies coming together and sharing their diverse portfolios, I gave the brand a distinctive yet an approachable brand identity. Using relatable patterns, I wanted to depict the event’s call for celebration and union of global fashion enthusiasts and professionals.
